This week’s Adoptable Dog – Ruby

Ruby is described as being a couch potato, quiet, friendly, and a lap dog. Ruby was kept inside all day and was left crated for 8-9 hours per day. She is housebroken, per her previous owner  Ruby is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. Ruby is playful and friendly with other dogs. She CAN NOT go home or be anywhere near cats! She has been around kids of all ages and has done fine. Ruby is comfortable with all people. She likes the car, but pulls while walking on leash although here at the shelter she walks very nicely on a leash per our staff!

The Adoption Fee Includes:
– initial canine distemper combination vaccination
– first worming or stool check
– rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)
– AVID microchipping
– flea treatment/preventative
– spaying or neutering

Adoption fee: $80.00

Per state law, Beaver County Residents must purchase a non-refundable 2016 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $7.00. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$5.00)

This week’s Adoptable Cat – Gia

Gia is a beautiful  gray tabby that was brought in to the shelter as a stray, She is a very friendly kitty and is hoping today will be the day she finds a forever home. Since she was a stray the shelter is not sure of how she will do with other cats or dogs, but she loves attention from people!! Won’t you adopt her today!

– FeLV/FIV testing
– flea treatment/preventative
– spaying or neutering

Christopher Shotter is the President of the Monaca #4 Volunteer Fire Department and the Relief Association. In addition to these duties he also serves as the photographer, webmaster, and social media coordinator for the department as well. Outside of the fire department, Chris Serves as a councilman for the Borough of Monaca representing the 4th Ward.
