Hannah Daman, at only age 19, was selected to play in the 2016 Women’s Football Alliance All-American Game held on Saturday July 23rd at West Allegheny High School. Daman was chosen from over 1300 women out of 45 teams nationwide to participate in this game.
Representing the Pittsburgh Passion in the National Conference, she started on First Team Defense playing at the Linebacker position. The 2015 Central Valley graduate represented her hometown well by recovering a fumble on the 7 yard line and scoring a touchdown in the second quarter. In addition to this, she then had a key pass deflection and a second fumble recovery in the second half which led to a score.
Daman had 6 tackles this game which gave her a season high total of 101 Tackles, garnering 73 tackles in the regular season and 28 in the postseason. The National Conference defeated the American Conference by a 56-19 score.
Hannah is a lifelong Monaca resident, a 2015 CVHS graduate, and currently attending Robert Morris University majoring in Business Administration and Sport Management. She has accepted an Athletic Scholarship with the Division 1 Robert Morris University Colonials’ Women’s Rowing Team.
