A ribbon cutting ceremony for the Main Pavilion at the John A. Antoline park will be held tomorrow, July 4th, beginning at 12 p.m. The pavilion, which features a green roof, restrooms, and concession stand was made possible in part by a grant from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Recreation and Conservation, Keystone Recreation, Park and Conservation fund.
Monaca’s own Rob Pratte will begin broadcasting for KDKA radio at 12 p.m at the pavilion until 3 p.m. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will then be held at 1:00 p.m. Residents are invited to tour the new facility while enjoying hamburgers, hot dogs, and refreshments courtesy of the Borough of Monaca.
